At Topham Steele, we believe that exceptional imagery begins with a genuine understanding of space, light, and design. Based in the heart of the South West, we specialise in interior, architectural, Food and Brand Story photography across Somerset, Dorset, and beyond, working with architects, designers, developers, and brands to create imagery that captures both form and feeling.
Sandy - Photographer
My fascination with photography began at a young age when my parents moved to a house with a small darkroom. I was instantly captivated and, by the age of eight, I was developing and printing my own black and white films. That early connection to craft and process continues to shape the way I approach my work today—patient, precise, and deeply creative.
After studying at Falmouth, where I achieved an HND in Photography, i then gained a place on the final year of the degree course at the University of Plymouth’s Exeter campus, completing a BA (Hons) under the mentorship of renowned landscape photographer Jem Southam.
Over the years, I have refined a style that blends technical control with an intuitive sense of space, light and colour allowing the subject to speak naturally through the composition.
Claire – Creative Stylist & Studio Backbone
Every great image is a collaboration, and Claire is at the heart of ours. With an exceptional eye for detail and design, Claire manages styling, logistics, and creative direction on many of our shoots. Her ability to balance aesthetic precision with practical support ensures every project runs smoothly, from preparation to final delivery.
Her calm organisation and creative intuition bring structure and flow to the process, allowing each client’s vision to be realised beautifully and efficiently.
